Material composition

At Perfect Jeans, durability starts with the material. That’s why we only use fabrics that we have personally approved down to the smallest detail. Our textiles are tested for colour fastness, comfort, stretch and durability, so you get jeans that maintain both their look and fit.

Our innovative denim

Our reimagined version of classic denim is created with comfort and flexibility in mind, which is also reflected in the material composition. These styles feature visible texture in the weave and varied washes, as seen in traditional denim, such as lighter areas on the thighs. Our denim comes in five different colours, with varying material ratios.

Waves, Rivers and Oceans 92% Cotton, 5% Polyester and 3% Spandex
Ashes 92% Cotton, 6% Polyester and 2% Spandex
Shadows 65% Cotton, 30.5% Polyester, 3% Rayon and 1.5% Spandex

Signature jeans from Perfect Jeans

Our classic colours and fabric blends are carefully selected to optimise comfort and stretch. All of them are produced in a soft stretch material with an even colour surface and no denim texture. Here you’ll find jeans with a completely uniform finish, unlike traditional denim washes. The material composition varies by colour. See the overview in the table below:

Ravens, Renewals, Thunders, Gazelles and Santas 67% Cotton, 31% Polyester and 2% Spandex

Pastel jeans

Our fresh pastel collection is produced in a heavier material than our signature jeans and therefore has a different material composition. These styles combine the recognisable denim weave with a lightly washed look and soft tones. All our pastel products share the same fabric blend, shown in the table below:

Frequently asked questions

Different fabric combinations are used to achieve the specific colour (and to allow the desired denim effects), without compromising on quality or stretch.

The feel of the fabric can vary from colour to colour because some colours go through a special softening process. This makes the material more comfortable, but the process is carefully adjusted for each colour and batch so it does not affect stretch or durability. As a result, you may notice small differences in softness even though the products are otherwise the same.

Our jeans do not shrink when washed according to the washing instructions, as they are pre-washed. You can find the full washing instructions here.

As Perfect Jeans are made with a high percentage of cotton, they will stretch slightly when worn at first. However, they will not stretch by several sizes. We recommend choosing a size that fits snugly without feeling uncomfortable. We usually say they stretch up to half a size.
